I don't know what they are talking about with the pictures of support. There is no such thing. These are simple traditional cotton panties (you know that kind you wore when you were 6 yrs old--I'm 31 now--with a simple gather and the elastic exposed on the inside). The elastic is not uncomfortable, it's real cotton which I really like, and the they are the only full coverage simple cotton maternity panties I can find. (I can't stand the feeling of fabric gathering and/or cutting into me under my baby bump.)
