Both worked out really well for me however if choosing between sizes i would suggest the size up. in a lot of maternity clothes i am a Medium so i first ordered this in M and had to exchange it for large. Buying and returning the item was simple, fast and easy and i love the size large i got. I will say that the white is not snow white, it is off white/ivory and very see through. i still love it, but its just a warning to any future buyers.
