(More customer reviews)I had a c-section and bought this thinking that it would provide support, which it did. However, the support was not enough of a relief to overcome the annoyance of all those hooks. I was getting in and out of bed so much and I didn't want it on while in bed because it folded and pushed on my healing scar.
This isn't a vanity item. During my 10-day recovery, I got lots of visitors but I saw them in my maternity sweats and definitely did not feel like dressing up and wearing my belt - if I had, the pudge would have mushroomed over the top anyway and wouldn't have helped my appearance.
p.s. I loved my cesarean, so quick and painless. Good luck with your delivery!
