(More customer reviews)I bought this maternity dress in black for a wedding. The dress is pretty and basic, no surprises in the fit. It has a slightly heart-shaped neckline, elastic all around the top of the dress, and a straight and slightly roomy drape to the ankles. I'm 5'2 or 5'3" and the dress was about 2 inches too long on me, but I usually wear short lengths.
I was disappointed in the fabric. The website says the dress is made of polyester, but the fabric feels like cotton jersey. The fabric tag says "32% rayon, 7% spandex" but nothing on what the other 61% is. Like I said, it feels very cottony and looks a little casual, but I didn't have time to look for another dress, so I just dressed it up with nicer accessories. Because the fabric is cottony (and quite comfortable), it is not super-forgiving of misc lumps and bumps you may have, including the baby bump.
Overall, this is a nice casual dress, a little informal to wear to special events, but it still did the trick.
