(More customer reviews)I was on the edge between L and XL, and ordered the L. It fits, but it is difficult to put on by myself, due to the serious compression. The inner layer is very sturdy and quite thick. My husband and I had to fight to get it over my tender chest (1 week postpartum). It rolls up and gets caught on my chest as I try to pull the tank over my head, but once it's on, it stays put quite well. Other than the difficulty putting it on and taking it off, my only other complaint is that the inner layer is too short for my build -- I'm 5'8.5" and if I pull the compressive inner layer over the bottom of my belly, the inner bra is pulled down and taught and rides too low to really support my breasts at all. The good news is that the bra portion of the inner layer is nicely stretchy so it does not seem to really cut into my breasts as some other nursing tanks have (e.g. those from the big red bullseye store).
Overall, the compression was so impressive that I'm thinking of trying one size up, though hopefully I'll only need it for a few more weeks until I work off a few more pounds. The belly compression was very effective, and much more comfortable than the abdominal binder I've been trying to wear. I just wish it weren't so hard to get this thing on!
