(More customer reviews)I ordered some of these as gifts for my friends. Of course, I printed out a picture of their children and put it in the frame before giving it to them. These purse hooks are more heavy duty than the one I previously bought at the mall. The top part feels very heavy and sturdy, and the piece that comes down to act as the hook is thicker and heavier than I expected. It doesn't feel flimsy at all.
There are 3 pieces to this - the unit/hook itself, a small clear piece of film to put over your picture, and finally the small "frame" piece that sits on top of your picture and the clear piece. The frame is held on to the unit via small magnets. It's certainly easy to pull apart (maybe this is what the other reader was mentioning about durability)...but I like the fact that it's easy to change. This way my friends can put whatever picture of their kids they want.
Since this is meant to be carried inside the purse, I wondered about magnets being stored so close to wallets/credit cards, but I think these are OK because they're so small. My purse has a magnet closure and I think these magnets are about the same strength as that (and I haven't had any problems).
Overall I'm very pleased! Seems to be the only photo purse hook on the market that I could find...
