(More customer reviews)It was a bit pricey with S&H and doesn't offer the support I need; it's like loose panty-hose material and I needed something to support my back. It goes on very easily (that's the micro-fiber, but hence no support), but I also found it tends to roll a bit at the thigh when I pull up jeans. I kept it without complaint because I thought I had ordered too big a size and could save it for the last month or two of pregnancy (still not great, other than extra warmth for the winter). I don't see how this would be any good for exercising, unless you're just looking to smooth out lines and not looking for extra support.
I ordered another maternity girdle that offers actual support from Underworks and I wear that one daily (more restrictive, but definite support and it's also much more comfortable than a maternity belt which I found to dig into me when I sit).
Bottom line: This would make fine maternity underwear by itself, I guess, but don't go looking for it to ease any pregnancy discomforts in the back or belly.
