Solid Color Diaper Covers do leak through but the baby skin can really breathe and it is easy to see when you need to change the diaper. I do not give all 5 stars because the top portion of the diaper was too loose for my baby, so I needed to do a bit of sewing work moving the outer vecro (hooks) away from the edges. After that the fit was very nice.
